Root Reborn brings root stake into the open

Taostats launched "Root Reborn," a feature that breaks down each validator's root stake into a separate basket weighted across the subnets it's exposed to. Performance of these baskets is now publicly visible, letting anyone compare validators head to head. Taostats said its own basket outperformed comparable baskets over the trailing 7-day window.

SN105 Beam hits a terabyte every half hour

Opentensor's Novelty Search series spotlighted SN105, Beam, which is building programmable bandwidth infrastructure for moving data across clouds, storage, P2P networks, and AI infrastructure. Six months after mainnet launch, the subnet is processing roughly 1 TB of data every 30 minutes. The team says the next phase of development shifts focus to real-world use cases.

Exploit Summit dated, Taohash channel closes

The Bittensor Exploit Summit is confirmed for September 28-29, open to the public and centered on Bittensor.
