Subtensor v478 lowers EVM gas needs for unstaking and restores missing staking associations
Release v478 makes EVM and smart-contract stake exits (transfer, remove, move and swap stake, plus unstake-all) require far less gas than before. It also adds a gradual background migration that restores missing links between coldkeys and the hotkeys they stake to. Transaction fees for regular extrinsics are unchanged.

Unstaking-related calls made through the EVM staking precompile (transfer, remove, move and swap stake, including limit variants) now need roughly 60-100k gas instead of about 2.3M, so integrations forwarding a normal gas amount no longer run out of gas. Unstake-all calls need about 2.4M gas for a short list of hotkeys instead of about 37.7M. Smart contracts are also charged less for these calls. Fees for regular transactions are unchanged, and a coldkey with a very large number of staking hotkeys still needs the full allowance.

EVM precompile and contract calls that unstake, move, transfer, or swap Stake now reserve gas based on the caller's actual number of staking Hotkeys instead of the 256-Hotkey maximum, so integrations calling these functions (including unstakeAll/unstakeAllAlpha) no longer need to prefund excessive gas.
